Nab Tower Race Saturday 16th May
This is the final call for anyone who would like to take part in one of the highlights of the cruising programme.
There’s a great atmosphere on the start line, it’s always fun and there are prizes and supper at the clubhouse in the evening.
This year the weather is looking good! NNW F3 backing W and most importantly, SUNNY.
If you’d like to enter your boat for the race, contact email@example.com NOW!
All members are welcome for the hearty 3 course Supper - a bargain at £14/head. Again, contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to come along.
Club Draw Saturday 16th May
Goodness gracious – this is now £590!!! How can you possibly miss this? Be at the Club at 19:30 and wait for your name to be drawn – simples.
Children Above the Step
There is a step up to the bar area in the Club and as previously mentioned there are conditions in our Club licence that expressly prohibits children in this area. If children come to the end of the bar in the restaurant area, they will be served with absolutely no problem from there. Most of our members know this but it is up to you to remind your guests of this. And don’t forget - our bar staff are professionals – they clock who queues in what order, no matter what their age, so children WILL be served from the west end of the bar, but only from there!
We had a great Topper Open meeting run by Bosham Sailing Club at the weekend. Over 30 Topper sailors raced on Sunday and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.
Bosham Sailing Club also hosted a Parish Lunch on Sunday for members of Holy Trinity Church in Bosham. Organised by Barry Colgate, 60 guests sat down for lunch in the marquee just as the sun came out. Just as arranged by Barry.
And that’s that. Just wait until next week…..
