Much more clement weather saw the club busy all weekend with the CDB fleet on Saturday who waited for the wind which didn’t arrive in time so racing was cancelled, only to see a lovely breeze arrive later! Racers on Sunday were luckier with the wind and there was a great turn out for the Spring Series. The meadow was busy with Optimist sailors and families, Lasers and dinghies of all sorts and more than 40 people enjoyed our delicious carvery.
See the Easter training photos
We had two weeks of training courses over the Easter holidays and ran 6 different courses across 3 classes (Optimist, Feva and 420). Some members also took the opportunity to get some confidence-boosting private tuition for the new season, or honed some specific sailing skills.
