What do you mean you haven’t dug out your sailing gear yet?! Don’t you know the sailing season is nigh! So track down those thermals, locate the whereabouts of those waterproofs, get that spinnaker shipshape and ready yourselves for regatta tea-making!
And brace yourselves for another short newsletter.
Cadet Regatta Friday 3rd April
R/C Cadets, Maggie Knottenbelt, is rallying her troops for the first Club sailing of the season. The Junior Regatta provides a great opportunity to get those rusty sea legs going again and to catch up with friends and acquaintances from last season’s sailing. And it also serves as a brilliant reminder to those older Club members that the sailing season is truly upon us. And from 17:30 for an hour, cadet parents and cadets are invited to get together to discuss the coming season. Weather permitting, there’ll also be a BBQ then.
Easter Egg Hunt and Cadet Over 13 Disco
Very briefly, the Easter Egg hunt takes place from the Club and is £4 per child on Sunday 5th April at 10:00 and the cadet disco takes place on the same day from 21:00 until midnight and tickets are £8 each. Further details and reminders will follow next week.
If you haven’t signed up for your duty yet, please do so now as you’ll get to meet nice people and have fun and enable your fellow club members to go racing so it’s really a win-win situation.
