This week it really IS all about the Regatta, so eyes down and get ready to note notes.
BSC Regatta Saturday 4th July
You are brilliant! We have a full house on DutyMan. Thank you so much to everybody who has volunteered for a duty, whether you have been nicely cajoled by R/C Dinghies or whether you have just decided that you would like to get involved in the day, we are complete! The Optimists, who are racing at Cutmill, as part of the Regatta, are still looking for a few people, so if you do want to get involved there are still some duties available.
The Regatta itself is one of our most important sailing events of our year, so having got everybody in place to do a duty, let’s get sailing! It’s all there to support the sailors, so be a sailor! If you have a boat, this is a wonderful opportunity to be part of this wonderful spectacle. You can enter on the day or else download an entry form from www.boshamsailingclub.com What is there not to like? Organised sailing, the most scrumptious of teas and in the evening, music with ALL THAT JAZZ! Do not miss this. Here’s another scenario – you’ve had a brilliant days sailing, you’ve come off the water ravenous, and had a yummy tea, you’ve been home for a shower and now you’re ready to PARTY! SO come to Bosham Sailing Club and have a 4th July BBQ, and listen to music from ALL THAT JAZZ. Tickets are £10 and need to be bought from the Club Office or Bar. This day at Bosham Sailing Club should not be missed.

National 18 Open Sunday 4th July
Bosham Sailing Club is hosting this event and we still need Power Boat Drivers and Crews to support it. If you can help, please sign up for this via DutyMan and if you would like to take part please see www.boshamsailingclub.com for further details.
Cruisers Monday Club Visit Monday 6th July
R/C Cruisers is looking for volunteers to help out with this event next Monday from 13:00 to 17:00. The Monday Club is having an outing on the Cobnor Chairboat from the Quay and volunteers are needed to escort people to the boat and to help with the afternoon tea afterwards. Bosham Sailing Club Cruisers have arranged this keenly anticipated event for many years and it would be good if anybody can help out with baking a cake or serving teas or helping people get aboard the boat. Please direct all enquires to email@example.com

Yachting World Dayboat Open Saturday 11th July
Please see www.boshamsailingclub.com for an entry form and notice of race. It will be good to get as many Bosham YWD’s competing as possible. More information to follow next week.
West Wittering Harbour Challenge 18th July
This hotly contested event takes place in a couple of weeks’ time and we want Bosham Sailing Club to win again. It’s open to all dinghy sailors and the more sailors who take part, the better chance we have of wining again. There will be a BBQ in the evening hosted by West Wittering and keep your eye on our website as the entry forms and notice of race, will appear there soon.
We have had one or two problems with the doors recently, but this has now been resolved.
So, let’s all meet at Bosham Sailing Club this weekend and let’s have the best Regatta ever.
