OK peeps, there’s a great deal to get through, so away we go.

There will be hot snacks available at lunchtime on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There will not be hot food available on Thursdays at lunchtime now, as that service was not used and hot snacks on Friday lunchtimes will be discontinued if that service is also not used.

Saturday Evening Draw 19:30
The Club draw has now reached the magical £500 mark. And what happens now, is that you get 2 draws per week until the £500 is won! The first draw is capped at £500 and this £500 prize will get drawn every week until it is won and all you need to do, is to be at your Club at 19:30 on a Saturday to be in with a chance of winning. At the same time, the second draw will start at £50 and continue to accrue at £10 per week and this will be drawn just before the £500 draw on Saturday evenings at 19:30 and the same rules apply, that is you have to be at your Club on a Saturday evening to stand a chance of winning. And this will apply each time the draw gets to £500 i.e. 2 draws will run concurrently until the £500 pot is won and then it will revert to the single draw.
Sunday Carvery 30th April 13:00
Our chef’s roasts on a Sunday at lunchtime, continue to be a highlight of the weekend. And just to remind everybody again, even if they are not mentioned every week, the Sunday roasts will be available until you are advised otherwise. Please book your places by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Saturday 29th April.
Racing and DutyMan
This weekend there is a lot of racing going on at your Club and all details can be found in the Red Book or on the Club website. However, to support this racing we really do need your help with duties. Please go to DutyMan and sign up there or email the office with your offer of help. We are particularly light on help on Sunday and Monday, so if you race but you’re not racing this weekend or if you haven’t yet signed up to do a duty, please help this weekend.
A few reminders here. First of all, if you are not currently paying for a space in the dinghy park, but you have a trailer or boat there, then you have 10 days to remove it before it is removed. We have had several people who have paid for their space and have been unable to put their boat into that space because it is already occupied by an unidentifiable dinghy. This is clearly unacceptable and in the interests of running a dinghy park that works for everybody, the boats that should not be there, need to be removed. We are about to do an audit of the dinghy park so please ensure that you have a current dinghy park plaque prominently displayed. If you have not yet collected your plaque, they are available from the Club office. There will be further news on all unidentifiable trailers and dinghies after the audit. Please also remember that you are responsible for keeping the grass and nettles under control in your particular space.
