Bosham Sailing Club Topper Open Sunday 2nd October
On Sunday, there will be a great day’s racing based at Cobnor, for Toppers. If you haven’t raced in an Open before, then the very best place to start is at your own Club’s Open. There will be a briefing at Cobnor at 10 a.m. and at the moment the weather forecast looks very favourable. There is loads more information on the Club website. Film Night Monday 3rd October 19:00 for a prompt 19:30 start
This Monday the film being shown at Bosham Sailing Club will be “Rat Race” starring Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese amongst others. This is funny. So if you need a laugh at the start of the week, (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?) come to your Club on Monday evening and enjoy a film and a sausage bap for £6. It is such a relaxed evening as invariably you’ll meet up with friends, or new members will make new friends, you have a bar to hand and almost the best bit is the ice-cream seller who will be tempting you to buy something sweet and delicious!
Members & Ruby Reception Saturday 8th October 18:00
By now, you should all have received your emailed invitations to this Reception. It’s almost the first chance to catch up with each other since the rush of summer and a great opportunity for new members to meet the Flag Officers. For just £6 per person (which can be debited from your Club Red Card) you will get a drink and some canapés and the prospect of a very good evening. Please email email@example.com to reserve your places.
Red Cards to Access the Clubhouse
As you all know, not only is your Red Card essential in getting you discount when you buy drinks from the bar, it also allows you to access the building and changing rooms. Following the lightning strike, the system has been repaired and you will now need your Red Cards to let you into the Clubhouse and the changing rooms.
And finally, Dick Pratt’s very excellent BSC’s October Dinghy Newsletter is now available on the Club website. Just follow this link http://www.boshamsailingclub.com/files/404/Dinghy_News_1_Oct_2016.pdf
