There’s our next session of Women on the Water on Friday 1st May starting at 09:00. There have been all sorts of weather and adventures for some very nice ladies – so whether you’re a beginner or are feeling a bit rusty around the sailing edges or just want to enjoy yourself out on the water for a few hours, just email email@example.com by 09:00 on Thursday 30th April to reserve your place.

Throughout the weekend, Breeze at Bosham Sailing Club will be providing a buffet and bbq for both those coming off the water or for those members who just want to eat good food in a lovely place. (Please note that from 16:00 on Sunday 3rd May, there will be a private party in the restaurant and marquee)
May Day Bank Holiday Weekend 2nd – 4th May
Well, what a lot of sailing. Classic Dayboats and Optimists on Saturday. Optimists, Scows, Cadet Only Mayday Weekend Series (excluding Optimists), Hulse Trophy for Fast and Medium Handicap on Sunday and on Bank Holiday Monday, for those who aren’t doing the Glyn Charles Pursuit Race from HISC, then we have the conclusion of the Weekend Series for the Cadets, Fast and Medium Handicap racing and yes, you’ve guessed it –more Optimist sailing. Goodness, you parents are going to be very good riggers and you Optimist sailors are going to be very experienced.
On Monday 4th we also have “Escorted Family Sailing” which is for those people who perhaps haven’t been out in their boats for some time and would like the reassurance of having a safety boat with them. If you intend to take part in this, please email email@example.com by Thursday 30th April so we can ensure adequate cover and the decision on where to go will be made once we have an up to date forecast.
Club Draw Saturday 2nd May
Somebody is going to be lucky soon. The tension is mounting and more and more people are coming to enjoy Happy Hour on Saturday evenings between 18:30 and 19:30 and waiting and hoping that it will be THEIR name that is called and they will be the lucky person who will win £570! It could be me you.
Topper Open Sunday 10th May
Bosham Sailing Club is hosting a Topper Open Meeting on Sunday 10th May that will be run from Cobnor. Come on you Topper sailors – this is an event for all levels of Topper sailing, whether you are comparatively new to the boat or are a bit more experienced. Give it a try. Go to www.boshamsailingclub.com and download an entry form and NOR and book your place.
Sensational Senior Week and Sensible Senior Training w/c 15th June
It’s the return of the simply fantastic Senior Week – it’s not ALL about youth and anyway you only have to be over 21 to be eligible for this Senior week. SO there will be some who are more Senior than others but as long as you know how to enjoy yourself –you’ll not go far wrong in this week. If you’re not sure about racing, why not sign up to the RYA Adult Start Racing 2 day course that your Club is going to run on the Monday and Tuesday before Senior Week starts on Wednesday? Go on – you know you want to. So put the dates in your diary and watch this space for further details.
Nab Tower Race Saturday 16th May
Now it’s the turn of the cruisers to have some fun and the Nab Tower race is a real incentive to set to sea for the first time this season. See the club website for further info and if you want to take up one of the limited places available to crew, please contact Jane Gerber directly.
New Computer in Snug
If you need to check the weather for sailing, your latest results in the Club racing or just how to spell FIN if you sail a Classic Dayboat, then there is a new computer in the snug that can help you every step of the way.
