Although for some, the sailing season never finished, for others it’s time to shine the centreboard, tickle those topsides and just make sure that the old wetsuit still fits. The new sailing season is now underway and you are reminded that DutyMan is up and running and ready for you to pick the dates that suit you to help out at your Club. You meet new people and you can discover how rewarding and easy it is to be part of a race team. There’s an opportunity for you to be a Race Officer’s Assistant on Saturday and a Power Boat Driver on Sunday. Just sign up on DutyMan.
Club Draw Saturday 8th April 19:30
Crikey. This still hasn’t been won yet and now stands at £470. Will it get to the significant £500? Come along and be part of the draw on Saturday at 19:30
Carvery Sunday 9th April 13:00
Please remember that even if it’s omitted (in truth, forgotten, sorry Johnnie!) from the Newsletter, the Sunday Carvery will be taking place every week until further notice. Booking is always required so don’t forget to email firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on the Saturday before the Carvery. And this week is no exception. So, all the diners who were cast into the depths of despair at the thought of no more of Johnnies delicious Sunday roasts, should now email email@example.com and reserve their places and your day will be complete again.
