Bart’s Bash Sunday 18th September
Our Club racing will be incorporated into this really worthwhile charity event. We are very short of powerboat drivers and crews that day, so if you can help, please sign up via DutyMan or phone the office.
The cruiser section are also doing their bit for Bart’s Bash. It’s their last outing of season and it would be great to have a good turnout. They have arranged a wonderful Rally to Beaulieu on Saturday 17th September and then there will be a Bart’s Bash race home. More information is in the cruiser section of the Club website.
And Save the Date.
Ruby and Members Reception Saturday 8th October 18:00
This very popular reception will take place again on Saturday 8th October. It is open to all members and there will be a small cost of £6 per head and this will include a drink and nibbles. Reservations need to be made via email to email@example.com by Monday 3rd October and provided you give written permission, payment for the event can be debited from your Club Red Card (always provided that there are sufficient funds there!)
The Tapas event was a fine evening with the food being the absolute star of the show. Watch this newsletter for information on the next themed evening.
The Optimist Open, run last Sunday was a brilliant success with all the hard work put in by the Oppie class captains, really paying off. Over 30 boats enjoyed a tremendous day’s racing with Bosham Optimists performing very well.
