Dougal Henshaw Presentation and Dinner Saturday 31st March
On Saturday 31st March we are holding a talk given by Dougal Henshaw titled ‘The man who designed Race Horses’. This will be about the life and boats of Ian Proctor and will be a repeat of the presentation given by Dougal at the 2018 Dinghy Show which was received extremely well. This presentation will lead nicely into our summer event, the Proctor Centenary Rally on the 2nd and 3rd June, further details of which can be found now on the website.

Due to the continuing poor weather, the Dinghy Park maintenance work has been repeatedly delayed. We are therefore going to have a single day for the Dinghy Park Clear Up this coming Sunday 25th March at 10:00. If you have a petrol strimmer or hedge trimmer please bring them along and sign up via DutyMan. Due to the delay in getting the Dinghy Park cleared, please don’t bring any boats down until Saturday the 31st.
You can now collect your Dinghy Park stickers! Please visit the office prior to putting your boat in the Dinghy Park to collect your sticker.
Spring has definitely sprung, we are delighted to announce the resumption of our Club launch service. Chris is back driving Emma and the service starts at 08:15 and operates on Saturdays and Sundays.
St George’s Day Dinner 28th April
Our St George’s Day Dinner is the first of the new season. This is now bookable online and further details can be found on the website. Dress code is black tie with a splash of red and white. Without your support for these events, they will fizzle out and we are unable to orgnasise them anymore. We want to try and make this a sucessful event for the club, so pelase help us to do so!

The Bar Draw this week is for a total of £220! All you have to do is be in the Bar at 19:30 to be in with a chance of winning. You must be present to win.
Sailors’ and Family Carvery Sunday 25th March 13:00
The last couple of Sunday Carvery’s at the Club have been fully booked which is fantastic! So we please urge those members who would like to dine to book spaces in advance. Repairs to terrace wall
Builders will be commencing work this week to demolish and rebuild the terrace wall, please take extra care whilst these works are ongoing.
