Rescheduled to 24th July. Existing entries are carried forward with the exception of ISC keelboats.
The Bosham Sailing Club Regatta is a highlight of our Sailing and Social calendar.
Racing is open to all sailors in the following classes:
Finn, Fast Handicap (PN1110 or less), National 18 & Chichester Harbour 18, Laser Standard/ILCA7, Laser Radial/ILCA6, Medium Handicap (PN 1111-1250) , Medium Classic Day Boat, Yachting World Day Boat, Slow Handicap (PN >1251), Slow Classic Day Boat, Feva, Topper, Chichester Scow, Tideway, Optimist.
National Swallow, Sunbeam and XOD classes have their own racing as part of the Regatta. Check with class captains for latest arrangements.
Races will start no earlier than 11.30 from Committee Boat in the main Chichester Harbour channel, with the exception of the Optimist class, and finish at the beautiful quay in Bosham.
If racing is not for you on this occasion then please do consider volunteering to help on the day. See the duty roster here. Or simply watch the spectacle from the shore or on the water.
After a great race day, there will be complimentary teas for all competitors followed by a prizegiving.
Entry Fees
Double-handed dinghies £15, Single-handed dinghies £10, Keelboats & three-handed £20, Chichester Harbour visitor fee £2
Entry is via online bookings only via this link, where you will also find Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions and any Notices to Competitors. Please note non BSC members without an account on this website will need to 'create an account' to enter. BSC Members should use their BSC login.
Schedule
- 11:30 Dinghies first start - from Committee Boat 2 in Chichester Harbour
- 12.00 Optimist first start = from Committee Boat 3 in Cutmill
- From 14.00 Regatta tea for competitors and helpers.
- 15:30 Socially distanced prizegiving for prize-winners only on the BSC terrace.
