Scow National Championship 2021
On Saturday 3rd July, thirteen eager Chichester Scow sailors lined up at the start of their National Championship. Four exciting races were held over two days, with excellent courses set by Race Officer, Rosemary Hanbury.
The Chichester Scow National Championship Plate was won by Izzie Lee. In 2nd place was Martin Windebank and Judy Roberts came 3rd. Racers and non-racing Scows met at BSC on Saturday evening to enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Helen and her team. Afternoon tea, kindly organised by Lucinda Hitchings, was really welcome on Sunday and gave an opportunity to chat and relax after a most enjoyable weekend of sailing. Many thanks to all who made this such a successful event.
