Bosham Junior Week (renamed as Bosham Twenty Twenty for this year) is a 7 day sailing event for cadets aged 8 to 18 years old. Great, competitive and friendly racing of up to 3 races per day, makes this the teenage (and younger!) sailing event of the year and provide memories to last a life time! Our sailing base is at Cobnor PO18 8TE.
This year, racing will primarily take place from late morning onwards finishing during the afternoon to make the most of the tide, with launches for fleets separated as much as possible. Competitors will be asked not to stay at the Cobnor once they come ashore. Unfortunately, this is not the year to be inviting extended family/friends to come to Cobnor and watch the racing. That does not mean, you and your extended cannot watch from the water as long as you launch from elsewhere in the harbour.
All competitors must be members of BSC, a Federated Chichester Harbour Club or an RYA affiliated club. Entry deadline is Thursday 23 July. After this date please contact Katherine Rose, RC Cadets.
To take part, every competitor must supply adults to do a minimum of 2 duties i.e. land or water based duties. A full list of duties available can be found below. To apply for your duties, please log into Dutyman.
The Bosham Junior Week committee extend a big thank you in advance for the help, support and enthusiasm of all parents/guardians/supporters, without which the event would not be possible. We appreciate that the event requires significant commitment from supporters as well as competitors.
