The SHE 36 is a classic Sparkman &Stephens design, who also designed the Swan 36 of the same period. She was built in Hampshire (South Hants Engineering) in 1976, has classic lines and sails beautifully, looking after her crew in all conditions. Water Bear is a fine example, having been refitted in 2015 for a single handed passage across the Bay of Biscay with all new mast and spars and a new Yanmar engine. We have completed many other upgrades including all new upholstery and canvas and a copper-coated keel. With us she had competed in the Round the Island race, cruised extensively around the Solent and the West Country as far as the Isles of Scilly. Currently out of the water and for sale through Willams and Smithells in Itchenor.
