Fun Rowing

20th May 2023, 10:00 - 12:00

Come and join in the fun with BSC's Saturday fun and friendly rowing sessions

The aim is to have all of our rowing boats out on the water and for rowers to have a go at everything. Be that steering, sculling, rowing or the coveted pilot seat in Valiant where you can sit back relax. It's open to members of all abilities so if you fancied giving rowing a try, this is the perfect opportunity to find out what it's all about. Be warned - you'll be sure to catch the rowing bug! The morning will take shape on the day, looking at conditions and the crews we have - and whatever the plan, it's guaranteed to be great fun.

The sessions will either be led by our Class Captain and Coach, Peter Haining or another competent rower - you'll be in safe hands.

The morning costs £5 to cover the hire cost of the boat and will be invoiced after the event directly by the club.

Please contact paddlesports@boshamsailingclub.com if you have any questions on the format for the day or see the website for details here. https://www.boshamsailingclub.com/rowing-and-paddlesports/rock-up-and-row-wednesdays

We recommend you join the rowing WhatsApp group for updates on the day - email paddlesports@bsohamsailingclub.com with your mobile to sign up to it.

N.B. The invoice for the row will be emailed to members after the row. Rowers may cancel up to 72 hours before the row. After that time, you may change crew but please don't cancel as the others in your boat may not get a row. You may still be invoiced if you cancel with less than 72 hours notice and you are not able to find a replacement rower. If BSC have to cancel an event, for example due to weather/instructor illness etc. you will not be invoiced.
