RYA Youth Stage 2
This beginner/intermediate course is designed to develop the skills needed to sail around a course and understand the basic principles needed to become a confident sailor. Focus is on Improving sailing skills on all points of sail, tacking, gybing, improving boat and speed control, ropework and collision avoidance.
If ability and conditions allow, some students may progress onto elements of the Stage 3 syllabus.
Recommended Age: 8 - 12
Entry Requirements: Minimum age 8. Sailing ability to a minimum of RYA Stage 1 required
Cost: Members £275, non-members £300
Club Oppies will be available to use free of charge.
