Last week, Club member, Alex Halswell gave a masterclass in preparing canapés on board and this week, it will be one pot suppers. R/C Cruisers Jane Gerber writes that this evening will give:
A few ideas for easy dishes at sea, for any of the crew to prepare! Delicious meals where all the ingredients can go into one large lidded pot ready to cook, in the oven or on the top, while you put the boat to bed, and prepare for the next days` sail – with glass in hand?! Or even for when you are on a voyage and want a meal ready when you have rafted up or anchored for the night miles away from a cosy bar!
Treats like Paella; Sausage Gumbo; Lamb Tagine; Chicken and Pepper Pot and more - also good eaten cold the next day in a bap for lunch! Also, helpful tips for planning and shopping.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve places.
Price is £12.50 to include a glass of wine and food!

This date isn’t in the Red Book as it’s a replacement for the Film Night that had to be postponed earlier in the year due to the building work. “The Hundred-Foot Journey” stars Helen Mirren and celebrates food. The film is charming and will be a great backdrop for the delicious super-duper hot dog that is included in the price of £6.
