You know how it goes. Sunny weather, sunny weather, sunny weather AND good breeze, sunny weather, Bank Holiday monsoon and no wind at all.
So this week’s news and reminders start here.

Yachting World Dayboat Open Meeting Saturday 3rd June
YWD’s are one of the biggest class of boats racing at Bosham Sailing Club so it will be great to have a good turnout of local boats for this exciting event. Full details can be found on the Club website.
Club Draw Saturday 3rd June 19:30
Neither of the draws have been won and they’re there just waiting for you to win either of them. So be at your Club at 19:30 on Saturday and it could be you.
Bosham Masters is Live!
This is one of Bosham Sailing Club’s main events of the year and it’s very inclusive. Whether you are a sailor or not, there is a way for you to be involved. The Bosham Master’s organiser is Barry Colgate and he writes:
Three days of racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 14th, 15th and 16th July. Last year, over 60 boats took part and we are hoping this year to increase that number.
A full social programme is planned - a sailing related film on Thursday, a talk and the 50/50 Lottery draw on Friday and a quiz on Saturday, and there will be supper every evening.
Don’t be put off because you have to work on Friday as there will be two discards if all six races are run.
Are you a ‘non-sailor’? We want you!
Come and join us. There are lots of different ways you can help, both on and off the water.
Please look at Dutyman for all the details, and come and join in all the social events.
Full details can be found by following this link https://www.boshamsailingclub.com/dinghies/bosham_masters/ or email email@example.com for a personal set of papers or if you have any queries.
And now a few reminders.
Please make sure that you carry your red card with you as you will need it to gain access to the Club. Too many non-members are trying to use the changing rooms and this is not permitted and using your red cards to gain entry will help to stop this. You are also reminded that there are lockers in the corridor outside the changing rooms and larger lockers on the landing by the cadet noticeboard. They are operated by a £1 coin or a token and they should be used to store your valuables when you are out on the water. Your red card is waterproof and this can be put in a pocket when you are out sailing.
Quiet Thursday Suppers
These suppers are now taking a break for the summer and they will be relaunched in the autumn.
