Two out of three ain’t bad... Sunshine and a Bank Holiday weekend occurring at the same time - who would have thought it? Unfortunately, that third element, wind, remained elusive but our Race Officers did manage to run racing on all three days with the CDB fleet out on Saturday, the Fasts racing for the Hulse Trophy on Sunday and the Spring Series on Monday, and our cadet fleet out in force for the Mayday Weekend Series. As a result of all that activity the club was awash with happy, smiling, if pink, faces.
On Saturday the Flag Officers and Class Captains welcomed those who have joined BSC recently and the main comment was how friendly we are so, if you see a new face or someone looking a bit bewildered, do stop and say hello as it does get noticed and makes a big difference.
Now that spring is finally here and summer is on its way, have a look at what’s coming up.
