Dutyman is now open until the end of August for Volunteers

Some of BSC's National 18 sailors travelled up to Teddington last Saturday 22/9/13 to support a National 18 Event, hosted by TAMESIS Club, racing for three cups;

- The new English National Championship Trophy;
- The Maddison Cup – UK Inland Championship
- The National 18 Trophy – UK Inland Championship.

If you want to see how 'tight' the racing is on the Thames, see the report posted on the Tamesis Club web site here.....

http://tamesisclub.co.uk/Racereports.htm       you can also see some more pics here:

BSC were represented by Tim Reynolds & Brian Hoolahan in Toucou.
David Edmond-Jones & Andrew Young in a borrowed Tamesis Penultimate, Trojan.
and Simon Vesey was crewing the local classic 18, Tumbelina.
The river width, steamer traffic and rowers make for a very different type of racing than we are used to......

By the byzantine workings of their local club handicaps, BSC sailors were awarded various prizes, but congratulations to Simon Vesey as winner of the English Inland N18 trophy....

All being well, Bosham SC is due to host the 2014 'English' 18 Nationals, with a provisional date of Sat 20/9/14
