A message from the Commodore, Frank McCormack:
“HAVE YOUR SAY”
In order to assist us with making the Club efficient and helping with planning for our future, the Flag Officers are very keen to hear from Members with their views about the Club. Rather than have some sort of formal questionnaire we are asking that every Member who wants to should communicate views, ideas and comments using our dedicated message line “HAVE YOUR SAY”
We hope that you will use this as a way of letting us know what ideas you have, what you think you can volunteer towards the opportunities for improving and maintaining the Club and what you think needs changing if it is not working well or is no longer relevant to Members. Please take the time to “HAVE YOUR SAY” as and when you like. We undertake to consider everything you send to us and the Flag Officers look forward to getting your views.
How does it work? It’s extremely simple, just send an email to email@example.com and this will be sent direct to the Flag Officers. Please maintain respect for others even if you are passionate in your comments. The facility will remain accessible until 31 January 2018.
While you are contemplating this, please consider if you can contribute your personal skills and experiences to help the Club. We are a small but complex organisation which depends quite a lot on the effort of Members for its success. Working together as volunteers is often a great way to get to know more about the club and its Members AND it helps us to be more integrated for the benefit of Members.
We have need of many skills, - either now or to take over from others when they want to finish their volunteering – including race results, data bases, event organising, sponsorship, archives, help with Club facilities, PR, organisational skills, accounting, decoration, training, data processing, etc etc all of which, offered regularly or intermittently, can help the staff and the Flag Officers– go on, let us know - “HAVE YOUR SAY”
