(CB) Bosham Masters (3 day event)

The Bosham Masters is a highlight of our spring calendar. For 2026 the event is fully open to helms aged over 18 from any harbour club and also incorporates our Yachting World Dayboat open meeting. The Masters is a three-day event (2 days for the YWDB open) and offers plenty of racing and plenty of party fun too. Thanks to generous sponsorship from Stride and Son.

• Two races each day with committee boat starts, harbour courses and the intention to have a quay finish for the last race of each day.
• YWDB open meeting on the Saturday and Sunday.
• First start not before:
  • Fri - 13:30
  • Sat - 14:00
  • Sun - 14:00
• Four or more boats of the same class entered by noon on 4th June will have their own class racing, but may share a start with other classes, otherwise there's fast, medium and slow handicap class racing as entries dictate.
• One discard with four races sailed, two discards with six races sailed to assist those who can only sail for two days.
• Notice of Race will be available under 'Downloads' below. Sailing Instructions as per Club SIs.
• Equally important to the sailing will be our social events:
  • Free teas post racing each day
  • Thur - Quiz evening and canapes
  • Fri - DJ Mark Covell and food truck
  • Sat - Band and pre-ordered food
  • Sun - Prizegiving
