Almost as important as the fun our members have on the water is the good times they enjoy off it, back at our clubhouse with its well-stocked bar (don't forget your Red Card for the 10% discount). In 2023, the clubhouse was upgraded with an outdoor deck on the first floor, a revamped Club Room and a Terrace Room for everything from jazz bands to Scottish dancing, bingo and bridge.
A typical year might kick off with a sailing launch party. The club arranges match teas and barbecues after major racing events, while Junior Week stages epic nights for cadets and parents alike. As autumn blows in, film nights and Bosham Reach talks by guest speakers start up. Our wonderful caterer Helen Clegg cooks Friday suppers and Sunday lunches.
Reeling practice sessions get weaving ahead of our fabulous Burns Night dinner. There are numerous fleet suppers and themed dinners along with screenings of major sporting events. In the run-up to Christmas, we enjoy the Oppie parents' party, carols and the Men's Christmas Lunch (the male answer to the ever-popular Ladies Love Lunch events throughout the year).
While we have a diverse social programme, we welcome new ideas if a member wants to use the clubhouse for something we're not already doing. The club needs its members to support events so get involved.

Please note: Each event is individually catered for the exact numbers booked, with all ingredients sourced beforehand. It is for this reason that the club is unable to refund for a cancellation five days prior to the event of after the closing date (whichever is sooner). If you are able to find someone to take your place, please let us know (no different dietary requirements can be taken into account in these circumstances). Thank you.
