Dinghies
BSC has a thriving dinghy section with well over 100 boats competing on a regular basis. Cadets sail Optimists, Mirrors, Toppers, Fevas, 420s and Lasers, whilst adults sail a wide range of modern and classic dinghies. Lasers, Streakers, Finns, Yachting World Dayboats, Tideways and National 18s all feature. BSC has the largest fleet of Tideways racing in the UK and also has a number of one-off wooden classics that have never been replicated, some reportedly 100 years old!
Handicap racing is held almost every weekend from Easter until the end of December and we host Open Meetings throughout the season for our most popular fleets. Our annual Regatta is not to be missed, whether you want to compete or just get involved in the organization on land.
Bosham Sailing Club holds regular training sessions for those who would like to brush up their race officer or assistant race officer skills. These roles are vital to the smooth running of the dinghy section and a great way of getting to know other like-minded members.
But it is not all about racing, we have a number of 'Get Afloat in Safety Days' throughout the year and more opportunities to just to cruise down the Harbour in convoy for a picnic.
Come and join us whatever the weather!
