Fundraising BBQ for Breast Cancer Now - Thank you
Thank you to all those members who supported the fundraising BBQ for Breast Cancer Now on Bank Holiday Monday. A whopping £1750 was raised, far exceeding our expectations, and the charity are delighted. To quote Breast Cancer Now: £1,500 could pay for around 1 working week of science in the lab. Wee Curlew - Help Needed
We are in need of help to rescue Wee Curlew. She is our lovely picnic boat that we use for fun and non-competitive outings. For lack of a boat cover or undercover storage space, the long summer has devastated her varnished hull. Launch Driver / Assistant Bosun Vacancy
As a result of Andrew leaving, Gary will be stepping into the bosun role and we're recruiting for a new launch driver / assistant bosun. Yachting World DayBoat Week 2026
Yachting World DayBoat Week 2026 There was a record breaking fleet of 38 DayBoats at this year's DayBoat Week held in Poole Harbour under the auspices of Poole Yacht Club. Bosham Stream - Important Update
After this prolonged period of dry weather the upper reaches of the Bosham Stream are at risk of running very low or even dry. We do not think this has happened in living memory. The Bosham Stream is a chalk stream, not a winterbourne stream.
