    Scow Nationals at Bosham

    CHICHESTER SCOW NATIONALS AT BOSHAM. A 17 strong fleet of Chichester Scows contested their National championships at Bosham over the weekend of the 13 th and 14 th July.     BSC Youth Sailing Fund Award

    The BSC Youth Sailing Fund is pleased to announce that all BSC cadets who have been selected to represent GBR in international regattas will be awarded up to a maximum of £350 (per year) in support of their tremendous achievement.     UK Finn Nationals The UK Finn Nationals held at HISC July 4 - 7, in which 4 Bosham boats entered, was not for the faint hearted. The sun shone (mostly) and the wind blew.     The Chichester Bike Project

    A new space has been set up in Chichester where the goal is to revolutionise cycling, promote green transport and transform lives by refurbishing donated bikes to be rehomed within the local area. A pilot has already been successfully running with a youth programme and fix-a-bike scheme.     BSC at the Royal Yacht Squadron's Commodore's Invitational Regatta

    Dominic Akers-Douglas (RC Cadets and on the helm), James Pitt (main), Brian Nixon and Will Francis (up front doing Kite/Jib/Trim) went over to Cowes on 1st July and represented Bosham Sailing Club at the Royal Yacht Squadron's Commodore's Invitational Regatta racing J70s. 13 clubs were represented from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.     Support for Carriacou

    Some of our BSC members or local sailors may know Carriacou, the small Caribbean island where previous Club members Ivan and Fe Jefferis now live and which was recently devastated by Hurricane Beryl.
