BSC Optimist Race Coaching

Intermediate/Advanced Gold Fleet
- BSC sessions aimed at sailors who will be racing in Gold Fleet this season
- Half day sessions around high tide to maximise time on water:
- Mon 10:30 -15:30 SESSION FULL
- Tue 11:00 - 16:00 SESSION FULL
- Wed 11:30 - 16:30
- Focus on improving boat speed, starting, tactics, mark rounding, boat setup, rules
- Briefings, on-water sessions and de-briefing with exercises focusing on specific skills, plus plenty of practice racing
- Taught by RYA-qualified race coaches
- Participants will use their own boats for this training at own risk (see T&Cs)
Recommended age range: 9-12
Entry requirements: Participants should be racing in the BSC Optimist gold fleet in 2024
Cost: £120 or £45 per session (Monday and Tuesday sessions are full)
