Bosham Sailing Club Regatta

COMPETITORS PLEASE NOTE AMENDMENTS TO NoR AND SIs

Following cancellation of the sailing on 10th July due to no wind, the Bosham Sailing Club Regatta has been rescheduled to 24th July. Existing bookings from 10th July, including entrants to the National 18 English Championships have been carried over. (Note that National 18 entries are not shown on the Regatta entry list.

Racing is open to all sailors in the following classes:

Finn, Fast Handicap (PN1110 or less), National 18 & Chichester Harbour 18, Laser Standard/ILCA7, Laser Radial/ILCA6, Medium Handicap (PN 1111-1250) , Medium Classic Day Boat, Yachting World Day Boat, Slow Handicap (PN >1251), Slow Classic Day Boat, Feva, Topper, Chichester Scow, Tideway, Optimist.

Races will start no earlier than 11.30 from the committee boat in the main Chichester Harbour channel, with the exception of the Optimist class, and finish at the beautiful quay in Bosham.

If racing is not for you on this occasion then please do consider volunteering to help on the day. See the duty roster here. Or simply watch the spectacle from the shore or on the water.

After a great race day, there will be complimentary teas for all competitors followed by a prizegiving.

Entry is via online bookings only. Please note non-BSC members will need to 'create an account' to enter either on the booking page below or by clicking here. BSC Members should use their BSC login.

Schedule

• 11:30 Dinghies first start from committee boat 'Glad Emma' in Chichester Harbour
• 12.00 Optimist first start from Oppie committee boat in Cutmill
• From 14.00 Regatta tea for competitors and helpers.
• 15:30 Prizegiving for prize-winners only on the BSC terrace.
