The popular Bosham Reach talks return to BSC.

On Wednesday 22nd November Simon Radford will be giving a talk about the Chichester Harbour Federation.

Next year is the the 100th anniversary of the inaugural meeting of the forerunner to Chichester Harbour Federation. Its initial concern was navigation in Chichester Harbour but has since grown to include the membership of the nearly 40 sailing clubs and maritime businesses within the Harbour.
The Federation promote boating in Chichester Harbour and coordinate the racing of dinghies and keelboats. Racing has been a big part of the Federation and next year Race Week will have been running for 60 years. Simon will talk about who their members are, how the Federation organise and fund their activities and chat generally about their interests, and their connection with the Conservancy and how the Federation work with them.
