BSC Rowing Regatta

A fun morning of competitive rowing
The spirit of the day is fun on the water, but organisation and being ready with your crew on your boats when required, will be essential! Races will start from Bosham Quay and courses will be set subject to conditions on the day.
There will be plenty of opportunity for spectators to watch from the shore.
We welcome to the competition Coastal Quads, St. Ayle's Skiffs and Celtic Longboats from all clubs in Chichester Harbour . All participants for race 1 must be over the age of 18.
Further information and plans will be provided at the briefing, once we establish exactly who is rowing and their abilities (newcomers to the sport are welcome).
If you are from another club, once you've entered please email sailingadmin@boshamsailingclub.com with your name, boat and Club.
Tickets are £10 per rower/cox.
It will be a fantastic day!!
Timings (subject to change):
- 09:00 - Coxes briefing at Bosham Sailing Club.
- 10.00 - 3 Mile Sprint Race
- 11:30 - Bar open and BBQ (book in advance here please). The BBQ is open to rowers, their named guests and all BSC members.
- 12:00 - Prizegiving
Conditions of entry:
- BSC reserves the right to refuse entry to any boat that does not meet safety requirements at any time before or during the event.
- Notice of Race is available under 'Downloads' below.
- Coxes are responsible for their boat and crew and must follow the Rowing Instructions available under 'Downloads' below.
