Feva/ILCA Winter Harbour Series @ BSC
The Harbour Series offers Feva and ILCA sailors from any of the Chichester Harbour clubs the opportunity to launch from their home clubs and meet in the harbour for three events (six days) during the autumn/early spring. Compete in larger fleet racing against sailors of all levels. Sailors are welcome to enter for any number of days. Come out for the events that fit your schedule - or join the many sailors who race the whole series.
Racing is for cadet sailors in RS Feva and ILCA 4 & 6 (Laser 4.7 & Radial) from Chichester Harbour club on the dates listed below. Hosting clubs provide committee boats and race team and safety cover is provided by the host club plus accompanying escorts from other clubs. Sailors join the racing on the water, sailing directly from their own clubs or an alternate launch location of their choice. All sailors will require designated escorts from their club to and from the race area each day. The host club will take over safety management during the racing using the escort ribs and patrol cover. Escort procedures will be confirmed directly with each club prior to each racing event.
Each racing day, the race area location and start times will be provided by the host club. All pre-race briefings and updates will take place via WhatsApp. Join the WhatsApp group here.
The ILCA classes will have their own start, racing together, but results will be separated.

- 30th - 31st Oct - Hosted by BSC
- 22nd - 23rd Nov - Hosted by ISC
- 18th - 19th April - Hosted by HISC
Cost: £5 per boat per day
Entry Requirement: Must be a member of a Chichester Harbour sailing club
Prizes: There will be prizes for each of the sets of races (Harvest, Spring and Easter) and grand prizes for the complete Harbour Series.
Duty Requirement: Parent support is needed to help with rescue boats for all dates. Bosham parents can sign up for duties in the normal way via the duty roster on the website. If you are able to offer you own rib as a rescue boat, please note this at time of entry or email Kendall.L.Massey@gmail.com..
Book: Booking for all dates of the series is via the ISC site here. Sailors are welcome to register for any number of racing days and days can be added at any time. Registration will close three days before each of the racing days. A complete list of boats registered for each racing day will be posted on the WhatsApp group.
