The session will cover the importance of checking the weather before going out. And when not to go out. Understanding the impact of tide on the boat. How to launch and recover. Safety equipment, boat care, coxing terms and several other areas that are important to know about when coxing. It would be useful, although not essential that attendees are familiar with wind direction, speed and tidal times. This information can be found elsewhere on the BSC website by following this link . The session will begin in the Clubhouse and then move to the water so please come dressed prepared to row.
