RS Feva Harbour Series - Harvest Races
Racing will take place in Chichester Harbour on the dates listed below, with hosting clubs providing committee boats and safety cover. Each racing day, the race area location and start times will be provided by the host club. All pre-race briefings and updates will take place via WhatsApp. Join the WhatsApp group here. Sailors will join the racing from the water, sailing directly from their own clubs or an alternate launch location of their choice. All sailors will require designated escorts to and from the race area each day. The host club will take over safety coverage during the racing. Escort procedures will be confirmed directly with each club prior to each racing event.
Planned schedule:
- 26th & 27th Oct - Harvest Races - Hosted by BSC
- 18th & 19th Dec - Solstice Races - Hosted by ISC
- 26th & 27th Mar - Spring Races - Hosted by ISC
- 14th & 15th April - Easter Races - Hosted by HISC
Cost: £5 per boat per day
Entry Requirement: Must be a member of a Chichester Harbour sailing club
Prizes: There will be prizes for each of the sets of races (Harvest, Solstice, Spring and Easter) and grand prizes for the complete Feva Harbour Series.
Duty Requirement: Parent support is needed to help with rescue boats for all dates. If you are able to drive/crew in a club rib for any of the race days or you are able to provide your own rib to be used as a rescue boat, please email Kendall.L.Massey@gmail.com.Parents of BSC sailors please sign up for a duty for the Harvest Races that BSC are hosting (26th & 27th October) via the club Duty Roster here.
Book: Sailors are welcome to register for any number of racing days and days can be added at any time. Registration will close three days before each of the racing days. A complete list of boats registered for each racing day will be posted on the WhatsApp group. Booking for all dates of the series is via the ISC site here.
