Cruiser Rally to Cowes
The plan is to sail or motor to Cowes on Saturday 9th May and return on Sunday 10th May, with dinner booked at the Royal Ocean Racing Club in Cowes.
With high tide at the harbour entrance at 17.35 on Saturday, the tide will turn towards Cowes at around 15.35. RC Cruisers will plan to be at Chi Buoy (yellow and about 200m west of the Chichester Bar Beacon) at around 14:00, battle against the tide for the first part of the journey, enjoy the fair tide for the second half of the journey and hopefully arrive in Cowes before the dinner.
You are welcome to join me in your boats at Chi Buoy or to meet in Cowes. We can discuss the journey home over dinner.

Marina Berth
Rally space is reserved at Shepards Marina in Cowes for Saturday night. This is booked as a rally so please let RC Cruisers know if you would like a space. This booking will require loads of information about your boat.
Dinner
Menu has been pre-chosen at the RORC. It looks very nice, with vegetarian options and is £49 per person. Wine/ other drinks can be ordered on the night.
RORC (and Shepards) will require a deposit (refundable with two weeks notice, i.e before 25th Apr.
If you are coming, please let RC Cruisers know before the 18th April.
