Rowing with Peter Haining MBE

We have a special opportunity for all BSC members. Peter Haining MBE three-time World Lightweight Sculling Champion who competed for Great Britain and England and soon to be a Club member is volunteering to run rowing sessions at the Club. This will mean we will be able to put on more rowing sessions during the week and the weekend so for all those of you who have been keen to give it a go can and for regular rowers an opportunity to meet Peter and get some advice on your own rowing - be it recreational or more serious rowing. On the whole it's a time of year that fleets are furling sails for the season, rowing however with the right conditions will continue throughout so it's the perfect time to give it a try without it interfering with sailing and enable you to continue getting out on water.

Peter is going to be at the Club on Sunday 31st October from 10am - Laura will be around as well. We're looking to spend some time with you on land and then get you out on Valiant in the water. It will be short taster sessions. Even if you're not ready to fully commit do come and say hello and ask any questions you might have.
