RYA Youth Stage 1

RYA Youth Stage 1 - Start Sailing

This course is designed to teach juniors who have not sailed before how to launch and recover, sail across the wind, turn around, steer, basic parts of the boat and to understand the basic principles of sailing.

If ability and conditions allow, some students may progress onto elements of the Stage 2 syllabus.

Recommended Age: 8 - 12

Entry Requirements: Minimum age 8, no sailing experience required

Cost: Members £220, non-members £240

Club Oppies will be available to use free of charge.
