Notice to Competitors

Chichester Harbour Conservancy have issued a Local Notice to Mariners #8 of 2024 regarding deployment of scientific equipment marked by yellow buoys south east of Stakes Island, requesting mariners keep clear. This NtC provides guidance to competitors concerning these marks and the surrounding area.

For the purposes of racing, these three yellow marks are obstructions under RRS 'Definitions'. RRS 19 applies. The area around and between these buoys is not an obstruction.

Competitors should avoid hitting these marks, applying RRS 19 where appropriate.
