BSC Open Day Monday 26th
This Bank Holiday Monday 26th is our Club Open day from 10:30.
This is an opportunity for us to showcase our club to the local community.
We hope to have lots of visitors on the day, they will be wearing a BSC logo sticker.
Could all members please help us by making them feel welcome to the Club.
BSC Junior Regatta
Our 2025 Junior Regatta is at 13:00 on Saturday 31st May. Open to all cadet sailors in the Harbour.
All races count as Bosham Junior Week qualifiers.

BSC Optimist Success
Just an update following the GBR Optimist Selection Trails at WPNSA.
Felix Gladman and Oscar Stephens have both been selected to represent GBR this year.
Felix is off to France with the Dev2 squad and Oscar is off to Ireland with the junior team. Well done both.
BSC Sailors 420 GB Team Selection
The RYA Youth Nationals recently took place in Pwllheli, Wales.
Outstanding successes were made by a strong BSC turn out in the 420 fleet and James Curtis in the ILCA 7 fleet.

More BSC Sailing Success
Congratulations to Andy Palmer Felgate, who recently won the HISC Tyler Trophy Open Event in Europe Class.
Also to Jem Drummond who was 9th in the Finn Class.

RYA Training Opportunities
Don't miss out on booking RYA training at the Club. Opportunities are available, especially in the May Half Term.

Courses range from RYA cadet levels in the school holidays, to Powerboat Level 2, Adult Dinghy and more.
BSC Harbour Cruise 2025
The Harbour Cruise is on Monday 9th June, come along for a great day out.

A chance for those who don't own a boat to get out on the water.
Retired members and guests of members are all very welcome.
Lottery Winners
The April lottery (join here), drawn on 9th May, produced the following winners:
1st - Alan Copsey, 2nd - Chris Gallagher and 3rd - Chris Hitchings.
The next draw is on June 13th at 19:30.
BSC Masters - Cake Makers
An absolutely huge BSC thank you to all those who made and donated cakes for the 2025 Masters.
The events were even more of a success due to your generosity and the cakes were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
BSC Summer Ball 2025
Waiting staff are needed for the Summer Ball at BSC, on Saturday 7th June. Full details of shifts can be seen here.

Protecting our Coastal Birds
All sailors, boaters and paddlers - can you help protect our coastal birds? See how you can help here.
Stakes Island and Pilsey Island are really important sites for nesting birds, but are easily disturbed.
Please avoid landing here.
The Solent Wave - 21st June
Cycle, sail or walk to protect and restore the Solent.
Saturday 21st June, a fun day out to raise funds for the Blue Marine Foundation and the Solent Seascape Project.
