Support for Carriacou

Some of our BSC members or local sailors may know Carriacou, the small Caribbean island where previous Club members Ivan and Fe Jefferis now live and which was recently devastated by Hurricane Beryl.

It's estimated that 98% of the island's homes are now uninhabitable and many people have lost their livelihoods. You may also remember the film about traditional shipbuilding there, Vanishing Sail, featuring Alwyn Enoe, which we showed at the club a few years ago.
