Your Regatta Needs You!! 10th July 2021
Organisation of our flagship fantastic sailing event is well underway, but we are seeking volunteers for some important roles:
- -Race Recorders
- -Results Team
Being a race recorder or member of the results team is a lovely way to be involved with this splendid day. If you have some experience of either then great, but if not, don't worry, it won't take us long to get you ready. Having people in these roles early on makes the day run smoothly and is very rewarding.
Race recorders note boats as they cross the finish line at the Quay and is the perfect spot to enjoy the fabulous spectacle.
The results team will operate from the clubhouse, processing the sheets from the race recorders, publishing the results and making sure the prize-giving team get the right information. They are also in close proximity to the world-famous tea and cakes!
So, if you know you won't be sailing, please please come and be part of this special day. Rear Commodore Dinghies will make sure you're completely ready, so all you need to do is enjoy the whole experience.
