Helen's Real Food

Photo Competition Winner

Last months photo competition was hotly contested and has now closed. Our winner of the £40 bar voucher, was Charlotte Vessey with a great shot of rowing blades out on the water. See the image in our news article here. We will be running another photo competition from the 1st May so please get involved and send your images in either via WhatsApp or by email to the office.

Training and Coaching

With training now well underway we have just as many chances to get out on the water and learn to sail or develop your skills this month. See the full training calendar here for dates and times plus further details.

Our social sailing and learn to race has once again started really well. Although the social sailing is not for beginners, it's a great chance to get out on the water, brush up your skills and meet other likeminded members. For those more intermediate to advanced who want to take their sailing to the next level, take a look at our learn to race sessions.

Contact the Sailing Manager if you have any specific requirements.

Equipment Hire

Don't forget we have lots of equipment available to members for hire, from boats to paddleboards and kayaks. Please ensure, as the season starts to get busier, that you are up to date and refreshed on hire conditions and terms of use before you book any of these items. Our 'Articles of Association' and 'Club Byelaws' can be found in your members portal. Please speak to a member of staff or contact the office if you need any further details.

From the Flag Officers / A Few Reminders

Duty Reminder- Please sign up asap

Duties are an important part of contributing to the Club and help us make sure that all events can go ahead, and it's a great way of getting to know other members. Every member between 16-70 is required to do at least one duty and we have 646 still left to claim. The Duty Roster can be found here in your members Portal.

Are you bringing guests to the Club?

Just to remind all members that any non-member guests, while of course warmly welcomed, must sign in (book in the front entrance) when they are on the premises. They cannot use the Club facilities, including purchasing alcohol, until this is completed. This is a licensing requirement. Please speak to a member of staff if you need any assistance.
