Foraging with the Hedgerow Apothecary
It may not have escaped your attention that Thursday is April 1st. But let us assure you that this week's Bosham Reach online talk is no April Fools joke. It is instead a ramble down the footpaths and byways of England with one eye firmly on nature's bounty that surrounds us growing in the hedgerows.
Our guide is Christine Iverson who knows her hedgerow onions (wild garlic actually). This "Hedgerow Apothecary" and author tells us: "I discovered a love of all things hedgerow after moving to a Sussex Downland village in 2001." Since then Christine has been apothecary in chief at the Weald and Downland Living Museum, has taught children about medieval and Tudor medicine and run folklore and foraging workshops at Tuppenny Barn Organics.
The talk starts at 6pm sharp, lasts about 40 minutes with time for questions after. You'll go nuts for it!
A zoom link will be emailed on the day of the talk.
