Summer Training
Last week was the last of the BSC cadet training for the 2022 summer season.
Huge thanks to all the BSC dinghy instructors and BSC staff for all their hard work, help and support.
It has been a really fantastic season of cadet training with huge numbers of sailors participating on the courses.
Winter IOCA training for Optimists starts on Sunday 13th November.
Cadet Prize Giving change of date
Please note that the date of the annual end of year Cadet Prize Giving has changed to Saturday 7th January at 17:00 in the clubhouse, (it was previously Tuesday 3rd January).
This is when we will celebrate our fantastic year of sailing and be making some awards. Please make a note in your diaries. More information to follow nearer the time.
BSC Youth Captain
"Do you have what it takes to be the new BSC Youth Captain?
We are looking for someone to join the Sailing Committee as the Youth Captain who could represent the views of club members in the 19 to 25 age range from a social and sailing perspective.
If you are interested or can recommend anyone for this role, please get in touch with RC Dinghies (rcdinghies@boshamsailingclub.com) and/or RC Cadets (rccadets@boshamsailingclub.com)."
Halloween at BSC
Huge thanks go Theo Purvis and Bella Rose, Cadet Committee Captains and the rest of the Cadet Committee for organising and running the Halloween Family Supper and cadet games on Saturday night at the club.
The evening was a great success and lots of fun was had by parents and cadets alike.
GDPR Consent Cut-off date
A reminder that the GDPR cut-off date for the Red Book 2023 is on the 15th November 2022.
Should you wish to respond regarding this consent, please ensure you do so by the above date.

BSC Friday Suppers
The next Friday Supper will be held on the 11th November.

BSC Cruiser Dinner & Prize-giving
Held at the Clubhouse on Saturday 12th November at 19:00.

BSC Exercise Class
Don't forget to come along to the club for exercise class on Mondays at 17:30.
Classes are run by our Coach Peter Haining and held in the club every Monday at 17:30.
It's a brilliant class that caters to all abilities and focuses on strengthening stretches.

BSC co-hosts Harbour Village Churches Afghan Project
On Wednesday 26th October, in partnership with the Harbour Villages Churches, BSC welcomed a small group of Afghan visitors to the club.
The day was very successful with more visits being planned in the coming months.
Mayday Action Group
