Barry Bonus time minus one month!

Yes, just one more long winter month until the next Barry Bonus, but in the meantime the January lottery will be drawn on February 11 at 7.30pm in the club.

Three lucky numbers will be drawn from the barrel with first prize being £105.

Sign up for Duties

It's less than 4 weeks until the deadline for choosing your preferred duty, on 7th March.

After then, duties will be allocated to eligible members (aged 16-70) who have not yet signed up. Remember that if you are willing to step in to cover someone's duty (for a suggested fee of £40) please let the sailing manager know so you can be added to the list.

There are currently around 800 duties still to fill.

Repair Works to Swan Island

There will be some repair works to Swan Island starting 14th February. See here for more details.

We have a luxurious menu from Helen - Choose from Moules Frites, Rosemary Baked Camembert, Fillet Steak with Dauphinoise Potatoes or Fish Pie and why not add a starter or a dessert to that to make a truly special evening.

BSC Planning Update

Following our new balcony and marquee replacement proposals shared with all members in the club at the end of October we have now consulted with the head of conservation at Chichester district council and the planning officer for the Harbour conservancy. We have received some positive feedback from both parties and can be more confident developing a scheme that we hope will appeal to the majority or more.

Raptackle Clear-Out

As a result of the recent complete clear out of the Raptackle we have acquired a number of unidentified tenders, outboards and sails. If you have not been in touch with Manor of Bosham about Raptackle storage recently then it is possible that we have something belonging to you. In particular, the sails, several mains, jibs and spinnakers that seem to have come from the same boat a popular dinghy class with a distinctive sail number.

If you believe that we may have your outboard, tender or sails then contact the Sailing Manager. After a period to allow for missing items to be reclaimed we will be offering them for sale via the classified section of the website with all proceeds going to the Youth Sailing Fund.
