BSC Youth Sailing Fund Jumble and Silent Auction

On Saturday 21st March, the Bosham Youth Sailing Fund Jumble and Silent Auction is taking place at the BSC Clubhouse and on the meadow.
We are looking for donations! Now is the time to have a winter clear out of any previously loved but still in good and serviceable condition sailing/rowing clothing, wetsuits and other accessories, chandlery and boats that are no longer required. Please could you drop off these items to the BSC terrace room from Wednesday 18 - Friday 20 March (boat deliveries and any other larger items from 1-6pm on Friday 20th March only).
Items to be included in the Silent Auction are likely to include some dinghies for example optimists, mirrors, fevas, lasers and trailers/trolleys of varying quality. A full list of items will be available nearer the time.
All proceeds from the jumble and silent auction will go towards the Bosham Youth Sailing Fund which provides support to youngsters to improve their sailing skills and widen their knowledge and experience. In addition to supporting BSC cadets, the fund partners with Bosham Primary School to help subsidise swimming lessons and introduce its pupils to sailing. This includes free taster sailing lessons and subsidised follow-on RYA courses giving youngsters from the community the skills, confidence and opportunity to get afloat and have fun in a safe environment.
As a reminder, the timings for the Jumble and Silent Auction are as follows:
- Wednesday 18 - Friday 20 March: Drop off donations to the BSC Terrace Room
- Saturday 21 March - Jumble and Silent Auction at BSC Clubhouse
- Jumble: 1030am - 1pm
- Silent Auction: 12pm
- BBQ: 1130am - 1pm
