Nurdling on New Year's Day
New Year's Day saw nurdling go berserk as the BSC met its rivals for the 4.5 miles, 90 minute long annual riot. With ISC having claimed victory last year, BSC arrived tooled-up, determined to win back our name.
BSC's hopes were high from the outset, buoyed by a strong turnout and a fearless display of gusto and courage. The contest ebbed and flowed, and after a hard-fought first half it was BSC who surged ahead, dominating the second half and looking set fair for victory.
However, fate had other ideas. In a dramatic late spurt, ISC found a last burst of form, pitching their nurdle into the Hare and Hounds terrace just three seconds ahead of BSC's, to snatch the win.
Cheers to everyone who turned up and made the match such a memorable battle.
Here's hoping for the right result in 2027.
