Topper National Series

Last weekend three BSC cadets competed in a fleet of over 160 boats at the Topper National Series held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.

Charlie Mealing, Olaf Storton and Matthew Board sailed excellently in a big fleet and challenging conditions with winds that varied over the two days from 5kts to 25kts! All three cadets did BSC proud with Matthew achieving top 10 finishes in the 5.3 Fleet and Olaf coming 5th overall in the 4.2 fleet.

The spirit on and off the water was great and, while the competition was fierce, the atmosphere was supportive and engaging in a friendly fleet that has a place for all ages and abilities.
