Bosham Masters

Please get your entries in by 23.59 on Thursday 13 May so that fleet allocations can be made for the racing starting from midday Friday.

The Bosham Masters is three days of racing on 14-16 May with two races per day, committee boat starts and quay finish for the second race each day. The event will also incorporate the Yachting World Dayboat open meeting on Saturday 15 May. Five or more boats of the same class will have their own class start, plus a fast, medium and slow handicap series as entries require. There are two discard allowed to assist those who can not sail all three days. Complimentary tea, sandwiches and cake after racing each day.

Full details are here.

Book your Bosham Masters supper here for Saturday 15 May. Bookings are made on a first come basis.

Nautical Books

BSC has decided that it can release usable space by ceasing to store some interesting but out of date technical books. Before we take steps to dispose of these, they are offered to Members, free of charge (though a small donation to the BSC Youth Fund would be appreciated).

The Books are:

(A) Hard back copies of Lloyds Register of Yachts for each of 1963, 1965, 1967, 1970 and 1974

(B) Various (approx 20 altogether) Hydrographer of the Navy (hard back) Pilot Books for a wide variety of places in the world (not Europe or the USA) and a Nautical Handbook all of which appear to be updated to 1981

Anyone interested should contact the office (office@boshamsailingclub.com) indicating their interest - it may be possible to view with appropriate arrangements. Allocation is purely on a first come first choice basis. Collection must be made immediately once the books are allocated

Any books remaining at 31 May 2021 will be disposed of.
