Whopping £2,800 raised for the BSC Youth Sailing Fund!

At last Saturday's Boat Jumble Sale, we raised approximately £2,800 far beyond the trustees' expectations!

On behalf of the trustees, we would like to thank all those who helped at the Sale and those who generously donated and bought items without you this would have been impossible! This money will help us continue to support youngsters to excel on the water, whether it is through grants to BSC cadets or training for Bosham Primary School children.

Whilst there were some bits left, several found a worthy new home three opi sails, buoyancy bags and sheets are on their way to the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center in the West Indies. This centre is a non-profit centre with a mission to teach the Nevisian community swimming, sailing and marine biology. These activities were never accessible to the community before. Its programmes are developing fast and they are always seeking support in maintaining our boats with equipment and replacement parts. So good to see our unwanted 'pre-loved' kit going to such a deserving cause.
