A guided walk with the Birdman of Bosham

Hugh has had a keen interest in wildlife and sciences all his life. While studying Biochemistry at University College London (UCL) he started doing bird surveys and guided walks for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). Hugh now undertakes bird surveys for the RSPB, the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), Chichester Harbour Conservancy and Chichester District Council. He also leads some of the Chichester Harbour Conservancy birdwatching solar boat tours. In 2018 Hugh was presented with the Eileen Savill award from the Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group, for contributions to the conservation and celebration of the wildlife of the Manhood Peninsula.
